She lay in his arms listening to his heart beat. He was lost in his sleep unaware of her eyes on him. In that moment their bodies were intertwined but their souls stood at a distance and watched. She closed her eyes and sighed. He kissed her in his sleep. A step closer was taken!
She was sitting on the ledge having a conversation with the morning sun. A strange sensation of drifting into nothingness engulfed her. She could hear him again, calling out to her from far away.
